Sketch Book Journey – 2

I tend to draw in my sketch book everyday. It doesn’t have to be something I am working on with my paintings or jewellery it is merely an exercise to ‘loosen up’. After the previous scrambled free sketch I had scrawled the day before with my new pen, I felt I needed to confine and constrict my drawing space – almost like writing in the confines of ruled paper – here part of me wanted to be free with the swirling lines and another part of me wanted to release some of my frustrations on the page – the sharp lines and shapes.

I actually like how it turned out and started to think that maybe this might take me on an interesting journey……..
